Welcome To Our Visitors!
We are
delighted you are here to worship with us today.
To help us make you feel at home, please sign the guest book
on the table in the foyer of the church near the front door.
Please include your address and e-mail address so that we may
send you some information about St. George's later in the week.
We invite you to join us for coffee, juice, and light
refreshments in the Parish Hall after the service.
Adhesive name-tags are located on the table just outside the
nave door. The Parish
Hall is located directly across the hallway from the church nave.
Restrooms and water fountain are to your left as you exit the
church. A Note For Visitors With Children
We welcome children at St. George's.
During the 9:30 service we provide child care for primary children
(k-3) in the First Step Room, just ask an usher. The children will
be brought into the church at the Peace to join their families for
Holy Communion. Following the service please gather with us for
fellowship and coffee hour in the Parish Hall. Christian Education
classes for adults, youth, and children will follow ending by 12:00.
The primary class is located in the First Step Room, grades 4 and up
meet in the Junior High room.
These classrooms are located in the Parish Hall. A
Note About Communion for our Guests
At St. George's we
invite everyone from every denomination, including young children,
to join us in the celebration of Jesus' Last Supper. If you are
unfamiliar with Holy Communion, there are instructions in the
bulletin. The ushers will invite you to come to the altar rail.
Please feel welcome to share in the Lord's Supper with us, or
to come forward for a blessing. |

Blankets for the Soldiers
I've been hearing that there may be
some of you that would like to be included in this worthwhile cause, but you do
not feel you have the talent or a sewing machine to make the blankets. Well, I
am sure that you all could make the blankets as there really is no sewing
required, but I would like to let you all know that if you wish to purchase the
fleece for a blanket (or donate $20.00 which is the approximate cost of each
blanket), I am sure there are enough of us that could make the blankets on your
behalf. However, be aware that the deadline for this particular project is
November 1st so that we can get the blankets to the recipients in time for the
holidays. If you wish to participate in this way (by donating the money) please
contact me as soon as possible. I will be on vacation so I will not be at church
again until September 28th. Thanking you in advance for your interest in this
project. Barbara Leary 672-7073 or
bhappy5332@msn.com. Money would also be happily accepted to assist with
postage expenses of getting the blankets to the head of the organization.
